A dad was left freaked out after spotting a “female ghost” appearing next to his daughter in a video he recorded three years ago.
Mr Huang, from Taipei, Taiwan, was going through old pictures and videos from his phone when he found a “faceless” figure in one of the clips.
In the video he filmed on August 22, 2017, Mr Huang’s toddler daughter is seen dancing and singing on a bed during a visit to his in-laws in Yunlin county, on the nation’s west coast.
For a split second in the first second of the footage, a faceless, long-haired figure seems to be sitting at a desk behind his child.
The clip showing what he believes is a female ghost has left the entire family with goosebumps.
Mr Huang also learned that the neighbours had been burying their daughter on the same day he filmed the footage.
He told local media: “I’m positive that my daughter and I were the only ones in the room at the time.
“I remember my mother-in-law saying our neighbours were holding a funeral behind the house at the time. The neighbour’s young daughter had died.
“I was on the bed the whole time!”
Social media users have allegedly accused the father of faking the video, but Mr Huang added: “I really wish that were true!
“What I can say for sure is that there were only the two of us in the room. Everyone else was downstairs.”
According to Taiwanese media, video experts said it was unlikely Mr Huang had tampered with the video due to its shaky nature.
Mr Huang said: “I just wanted to share my doubts because I worry I’ve accidentally filmed the spirit of the deceased.
“All I want is for my daughter to grow up in peace.”
